Eballs28. I've recently undertaken a retrofit of Bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRL's to a MY15 Amarok Highline. It's fairly plug and play as the 10 pin plugs are identical from the halogen lights to the Xenon ones. On a side note, the Amarok is the same as the new Beetle in that it doesn't have headlight washers or Auto-levelling headlight range
3. HID /Xenon Headlights: High-Intensity Discharge headlights use electric arc ignition between electrodes to heat up Xenon gas inside the bulb. The resultant light created by the plasma is extremely bright and white in colour. They are more efficient compared to halogen bulbs but also more expensive.
Bi-xenon options Umnitza sells Hella style (close to OEM look) Projector 39 (think made by DJ auto) assemblies with a preinstalled FX-R retrofit (does not explicitly say this retains the Bi-xenon of the FX-R, but the FX-R is a Bi-xenon unit). These units can be expensive $845+ depending on options, but might offer some of the best light output

The first version, which I seem to have, has the fog lights light up on the side to which you are turning to to improve visibility in turns. The second is the bixenon which actually turn with the direction the car
In the US market, BMWs equipped with bi-xenon headlamps also come with adaptive headlamps. Foglights were standard on the 3.0i and 3.0si, and optional on the 2004-2005 2.5i models. The adaptive headlight function itself is the swivel of the headlamps left/right up to 15° based on various sensors and steering input.
I have a MK7 Golf TSi 1.4 Highline with halogen headlights. I bought a Bi-Xenon headlights OEM Kit (5G1941751 & 5G1941752) and that is not working well. Only low beam and indicator are working well. High beam, DRL "U" LED e static cornering lights are not working. My BCM is (5Q0 937 084 S)! If I need to change BCM, Will I have any problems with

The reason why i ask about the Xenon bulb if its for Low & High(BI Xenon)beam is because when i tested the high beam in the garage ( kind of dark ). Oh, the high beam level (switch in the cabin) does work when the lights are off. It flashes when i pull on the level only if the low beam is off. But i notice when i tested that way.
